M<\/span>adrid<\/span>, <\/span>1<\/span> October <\/span>202<\/span>4<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 <\/span>Rovensa Next, the <\/span>global <\/span>biosolutions<\/span> business unit of Rovensa Group<\/a><\/span>, <\/span>strengthens <\/span>its leadership <\/span>by appointing R<\/strong><\/span>iccardo Vanell<\/span>i<\/span> as<\/span> Chief Commercial Officer<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Vanelli, who joined Rovensa Next in March as Head of EMEA, has been appointed as CCO to reinforce the company\u2019s commercial presence by building close relationships with customers, distributors, and growers, whist offering optimum support to enhance their productivity and solving their sustainability challenges. This includes providing <\/span>essential tools to shape the agriculture of the future, ensuring production, and helping businesses become as sustainable as possible while protecting the environment.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“At Rovensa Next, we have a commitment to sustainability in the food industry, which is intrinsically tied to our ambition to become the trusted global leader in Biosolutions for sustainable agriculture,<\/span><\/i>” said Riccardo Vanelli, CCO at Rovensa Next. For this purpose, <\/span>“we have a comprehensive global platform of biosolutions for all types of crops, from seed to shelf, designed to meet the current and future needs of growers,”<\/span><\/i> added Vanelli.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In this regard, <\/span>“Biosolutions are combined strategies that open a new path in crop management in terms of sustainability,”<\/span><\/i> said Riccardo Vanelli. He added that “<\/span>thanks to Rovensa Next’s broad portfolio of biosolutions, including biocontrol products, biostimulants, biofertilizers, and adjuvants, our products can provide a positive impact on climate, soil, and water management, among other areas, based on scientific evidence\u201d, <\/span><\/i>concluded Vanelli.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Vanelli has 20 years of experience in the agricultural industry. He began his career in management consultancy at Accenture, specialising in business process reengineering and change management. He later transitioned to Syngenta, as the Head of Biologicals Business Unit for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, following his earlier role as Crop Protection Business Unit Head & Managing Director Italy. <\/span>Riccardo’s strategic thinking and skills in organisation, operations, and sales led him to spearhead the regional integration of Valagro into Syngenta, where he served as president in his final year. Among other roles, he has also chaired the Crop Protection Industry Association in Italy serving as President of Agrofarma. In this new role, as CCO, Vanelli takes on an exciting challenge, given to Rovensa Next’s global presence and extensive sales network in more than 90 countries.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
