Madrid, 21 January 2026 – Rovensa Group, a global leader in agricultural solutions for sustainable agriculture, today announced a significant reinforcement of its executive leadership to steer the company into its next phase of accelerated growth and operational excellence, appointing Chairman Ignacio Domínguez as Chairman and CEO and Christian Iaconucci as Deputy CEO, both effective immediately.
These appointments follow the successful completion of a key milestone for Rovensa Group, the full integration of 12 pioneering companies in biosolutions into one single business: Rovensa Next. This comprehensive integration was led by Javier Calleja, who stepped down from his role as CEO upon completion of this transformative phase. With these foundations now firmly in place, this strategic change aligns with the company’s long-term direction, entering a new phase focused on accelerating growth and strengthening operational excellence.

As Chairman and CEO, Ignacio Domínguez will lead the Group’s strategic direction, overseeing the relationship with the Board of Directors and shareholders, defining corporate strategy and capital allocation, leading M&A decisions and organizational structure, and ensuring strong governance and leadership across the organization.
“Thanks to Javier’s leadership through this critical transition, we now have a solid foundation and we’re ready to unlock new levels of growth and operational excellence. The Board extends its sincere gratitude for his contributions and wish him well in his next endeavor,” said Ignacio Domínguez. “We’re in an exciting moment for Rovensa Group, and it’s a privilege to lead our company in this next chapter as Chairman and CEO, ensuring that Rovensa continues to be a driving force in sustainable agriculture globally.”

As Deputy CEO of Rovensa Group, Christian will lead the Group’s day-to-day operations, with direct accountability for business performance and the execution of the annual plan. He will oversee operational and business functions, drive transformation initiatives, and serve as the primary internal leader for teams and business units, ensuring agile decision-making and consistent execution across the organization. Christian will report directly to Ignacio Domínguez, Chairman and CEO of Rovensa Group.
“We are thrilled to welcome Christian Iaconucci to Rovensa as our new Deputy CEO,” said Ignacio Domínguez, Chairman and CEO of Rovensa Group. “His appointment is a pivotal move, directly aligned with our strategic roadmap to strengthen our executive leadership and drive sustainable growth. Christian’s extensive international experience, deep agricultural sector expertise, and proven track record will be invaluable as we accelerate our strategic priorities and continue to sharpen our customer focus. I am confident that his leadership will be a tremendous asset as we pursue our long-term objectives.”
Christian Iaconucci stated, “I am incredibly excited to join Rovensa Group at such a dynamic time. I have long admired Rovensa’s commitment to sustainable agriculture and its innovative approach to feeding the planet through well-balanced solutions. I look forward to working closely with Ignacio and the entire team to build on the Group’s success and continue its work to generate a positive impact on global agriculture.”
