MADRID, October 16, 2025. Rovensa Next, the global leader in biosolutions for sustainable agriculture, is proud to announce its return to the Annual Biocontrol Industry Meeting (ABIM 2025), taking place from October 20–22 in Basel, Switzerland, as a Platinum Sponsor.
Rovensa Next’s team of R&D, Regulatory, Technical and Agronomic experts will be on hand throughout the event in Hall 4.1, Stand 158 to provide personalized guidance and demonstrate the essential role of biosolutions in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs.
Launchpad for our breakthrough biocontrol products powered by OROWET® technology
At ABIM, Rovensa Next will be presenting its upcoming product launches, which have been developed to strengthen Integrated Pest Management programs.
This is the case of Orofusion, a multifunction bioinsecticide and biofungicide product that helps growers maximize protection with fewer inputs, promoting effective resistance management and high efficacy with reduced sulfur use per hectare, and of Palisad, a bioinsecticide and biofungicide that strengthens crop resilience by activating plant defenses, providing robust control against high-impact fungal diseases and insect pests, as well as safeguarding yield and quality.
Both new launches are formulated with Rovensa Next’s exclusive and patented OROWET® technology, an advanced formulation platform that enhances the performance, stability and sustainability of biocontrol products by combining biodegradable surfactants with natural extracts such as cold-pressed orange oil. This formulation forms micelles that encapsulate active ingredients, protecting them from evaporation and degradation while ensuring uniform distribution and enhanced penetration. Rovensa Next’s OROWET® technology has demonstrated its ability to increase biocontrol efficacy, optimize application efficiency, and reduce environmental impact.
Driving innovation across the biocontrol portfolio
Rovensa Next will also be presenting Oronem, a targeted bionematicide that supports healthier soils and stronger crops by activating natural defenses and directly suppressing harmful nematodes for sustainable yield improvement.
Showcasing Biosolutionize Agriculture, the global science-backed campaign that addresses today’s farming challenges
In addition, Rovensa Next will be showcasing its global campaign, Biosolutionize Agriculture, which underscores how biosolutions empower growers to improve crop performance and profitability, reduce synthetic inputs, and enhance sustainability across diverse crops and climates.
However, Rovensa Next’s biosolutions are not just isolated products. Instead, they are comprehensive solutions involving integrated crop strategy programs that combine biological and natural-based products with cutting-edge technologies and sustainable farming practices.
With over 65 years of expertise, Rovensa Next has the broadest scientifically validated biosolutions portfolio in the market, encompassing biostimulants, biofertilizers, bionutrition and biocontrol products (bioinsecticides, biofungicides, and bionematicides), and adjuvants. The company’s bespoke crop programs and expertise in more than ninety countries enable it to deliver tailored, effective solutions that combine global innovation with local insights.
Rovensa Next’s biosolutions deliver tangible results, showcasing how integrated strategies enhance farm profitability and sustainability. As an example, recent studies have shown that integrated programs including biocontrol solutions, adjuvants, and biofertilizers have achieved up to 20% reductions in synthetic inputs in fruit and vegetable crops while maintaining or improving yield and quality. Prev-Am and Pyrethrin sequences, for instance, have reduced synthetic insecticide applications by 30-40%.
For effective pest and disease management, integrated biocontrol and adjuvant strategies that combine multiple modes of action, by mixing Ospo Vi55, Prev-Am and Tec-Fort with Wetcit, achieve over 90% knockdown of pests such as whitefly and mites, and reduce powdery mildew by up to 85%, while mitigating resistance.
The company’s biosolutions portfolio addresses critical sustainability challenges, from abiotic and biotic stress to water use efficiency, soil fertility, and optimized input management, all scientifically validated to help growers boost profitability while protecting the planet.
