In a global landscape where sustainable agriculture has become increasingly vital, and the need for global solutions that are capable of tackling pressing agricultural challenges has grown significantly, Rovensa Next’s launch in the Iberian Peninsula, the US, Mexico, South Africa, MENA and Latin America marks a significant milestone. These debuts follow the company’s regional launches earlier this year in China, France, Italy and Brazil, embodying its aim to be a global pioneer for a greener future.
Rovensa Next, a business unit of Rovensa Group, encompasses the strengths, expertise, and network of ten influential companies (Agrichembio, Agrotecnología, Idai Nature, Microquimica, MIP Agro, Oro Agri, OGT, Rodel, SDP and Tradecorp). Additionally, it brings together a global network of over 3,000 professionals, operating in sales across more than 90 countries. Harnessing the combined capabilities of this extensive team, including over 850 specialized field experts, Rovensa Next seamlessly integrates global expertise with invaluable local insights to provide customized assistance and support to farmers on their sustainability journey.
Iberia, a key market in Europe
The announcement of the Iberian launch occurred during this year’s Fruit Attraction Conference in Madrid, one of the world’s main international events of the fruit and vegetable industry. During the event Javier Calleja, CEO of Rovensa Group, José Alfredo García, CCO of Rovensa Next, and Florencio Romaguera, Director of Rovensa Next Iberia, alongside key executives, officially announced the Iberian launch in a press conference ushering in a new era for both the region and business unit.
Additionally, the event was a unique forum for compelling conversations over the future of agriculture featuring Jose Nolasco, the Head of R&D Bionutrition at Rovensa Next, in a round table on “technological transformation, digitalization, innovation and sustainability: 4 key investments boosted by public financial channels.” During this discussion, the current challenges of the transition towards an agriculturally sustainable future were outlined further focusing on the know-how that Rovensa Next has from years of experience working alongside growers around the world, which enables the company to lead in making this future a reality.
With its arrival in Iberia and its presence at Fruit Attraction, Rovensa Next is preparing to bring its commitment to sustainability and innovation to farmers and consumers in the region, thus contributing to the development of the agriculture of the future.
US, a catalyst for innovation
Moreover, Rovensa Next’s latest expansion goes beyond Europe with the launch of its agricultural solutions at the CAPCA conference in Reno, Nevada. This decision brings the potential to strengthen a collaborative network that brings together the U.S. with the rest of the global agricultural community. Opening the doors for further opportunities for research, synergy, innovation, and the exchange of best practices, ensuring cohesion for a greener global future.
Latin America, pioneering in sustainable agriculture
Furthermore, Biocontrol LatAm 2023, the region’s leading biocontrol event held in Medellin, Colombia, oversaw the expansion of Rovensa Next’s operations in Latin America. Bringing together 60 companies, cutting-edge and revolutionary biosolutions were presented fomenting vital discussions over the future of sustainable biocontrol in agriculture.
During this event, Marlon Assunção, Global Crop Technology and Product Scouting Manager in Brazil, had the opportunity to discuss the perspectives of new bio-solutions developed by Rovensa Next’s Global R&D Department for Biocontrol and Adjuvants, aimed at bringing a sustainable future for all. The approach of Rovensa Next in Brazil highlights Rovensa Next’s commitment to be pioneers of a global movement that paves the way for sustainable agriculture worldwide.
Mexico, a key global market
Rovensa Next also announced its expansion to the Mexican market during this year’s Expo Agroalimentaria Guanajuato 2023, where it explained its integral platform and its unique approach to R&D and innovation.
Expo Alimentaria in Guanajuato, held in Irapuato, is a unique international agribusiness platform that is at the forefront of business, technology and development for the agri-food industry. It is considered as one of the most important Agro-Alimentary events in America.
At the event, Rovensa Next team in Mexico explored the unique venue with an experimental field, high-tech greenhouses, and demonstration plots, showing its hands-on approach to provide innovative solutions for the agricultural challenges of today on a global scale.
South Africa, a pacesetter for the continent
This pioneering spirit is further shared through the regional launch of Rovensa Next on October 2nd in South Africa. To mark the regional presentation of the business unit, the local inhouse team in the town of Strand celebrated the rebranding of Rovensa Next Sub-Saharan Africa factory and offices ushering in the rebirth of its agricultural legacy and reaffirming its promise to grow not only together but also greener.
This regional launch depicts Rovensa Next´s dedication to foster a new era of agricultural excellence, one that places sustainability and environmental responsibility at the forefront of its mission.
MENA, a shared vision of sustainability
Rovensa Next was recently officially launched in MENA at the 40th Edition of SAUDI AGRICULTURE, the largest B2B fair for the agricultural industry in the region.
During the international exhibition, held in Riyadh, the MENA team gave a speech on how Rovensa Next’s biosolutions can be included in sustainable agronomic programmes in the country, thus helping to mitigate the effects of climate change.
Our team in the region had the opportunity to meet with our highly valued local distributors in Saudi Arabia to collaborate in the Kingdom’s Saudi Vision 2030 goals of increasing agricultural production to enhance food security in a sustainable way, while also preserving natural resources.
These launches reflect the fundamental purpose of Rovensa Next to empower and advise farmers and distributors as they face sustainability challenges in agriculture and seek to improve the quality, performance, and profitability of their crops. They are a key part in making strides towards its mission of creating a more sustainable future for global agriculture by driving its biotransformation through healthy and safe biosolutions that contribute to feeding the planet.
