Rovensa Next is pleased to announce the appointment of Rute Vieira, Director of Global Biocontrol and Adjuvant Regulatory Affairs at Rovensa Next, as Vice-Chair of the Natural Substances Professional Group at IBMA (International Biocontrol Manufacturers Association), reinforcing our commitment to advancing regulatory frameworks that support innovation in biosolutions.
Rute Viera has over 25 years of experience in plant protection product regulation, with extensive expertise in biocontrol substances, botanicals and natural substances, having held senior positions in regulatory authorities, industry and consultancy firms. She brings extensive expertise in biocontrol substances, botanicals and natural substances to this new role.
Her experience includes EU and international regulatory strategies, risk assessment, data generation and the development of proportionate regulatory approaches that recognize the specificities of natural substances.
